General FAQ

What is the ideal length of stay?

A minimum stay of 14 days is recommended to allow for full acclimatisation and recovery. However, a three-week stay is ideal for maximizing training volume and performance.

How do I get to the camp?

Travelers should fly to San José (SJO), then take a bus to Puerto Viejo and continue to our Punta Uva property. We recommend booking your flight in advance as airfare is not included in the camp price.

What accommodations are available?

We offer private rooms in two houses and shared hostel-style accommodation in a converted bus. All options include their own bathroom facilities and are designed for rest after training sessions.

Is there Wi-Fi at the property?

Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property, ensuring you stay connected whether you are reviewing training logs or sharing experiences with fellow campers.

What is the weather like in Costa Rica?

The Caribbean coast enjoys stable temperatures year-round, ranging from 23–31°C. The warm sea temperature of 27–28°C provides a perfect environment for recovery and training.

Logistical Journey

Arrival in San José is the first step toward your coastal training. We recommend flying into SJO and taking a direct bus to Puerto Viejo. From there, a short transfer to Punta Uva takes approximately 45 minutes, providing a seamless transition to the Caribbean warmth.
